The Real Easter Bunny

My boys Doyle and Trenton found something better than an Easter egg in our yard the week before Easter. What they found that year made it one of our most memorable Easters ever.

I was in the kitchen with the girls. We were getting things ready to write letters to The Easter Bunny. Sally and Jackie were looking through the packs of stickers I bought. Melanie and I had our hands full making sure that everything we needed for their Easter letters to The Easter Bunny was ready.

Suddenly both of my boys came running in the door. Both of them were grabbing my hands and pulling me towards the yard. I followed them out the door and into the yard. They were both so excited and anxious - the way only adventurous little boys can. We stopped in front of the Japanese cherry tree. The boys made me kneel beneath the flower covered branches. Very delicately the boys brushed away a pile of leaves. Under the leaves was a small brown shivering bunny.

Then I certainly understood why the boys were so excited. The little bunny was so small and cute. By this time all five of my kids stood around me with pleading eyes. I told them I wasn’t sure if we would be able to keep the wild little bunny. I told the boys to stay with the bunny while the girls and I went to look for a cage. We found an old hamster cage that we decided would work.

The boys and I took the bunny to our vet for advice. He told us that the bunny was young and probably wouldn’t survive for long out in the wild alone. That sealed the deal. Doyle and Trenton had just become the new owners of a small brown bunny.

When we got home the excitement spread to the girls. All of the kids fell in love with the bunny and his fuzzy white tail. My husband Drew even thought that the bunny was cute. The boys named the bunny Cottontail. Not too original maybe but the name sure did seem appropriate!

Later that night we finally got back to our Easter letters. They kids all wrote about the newest member of the family. I took a picture of the boys with the bunny under the tree where they found him. They both sent the picture with their letters to The Easter Bunny.

The next day we set up a cage in the boys’ room. My husband Drew later helped the boys build a cage outside. The three of them worked very hard on the cage together. It was fun for all of them – the kind of activity that creates lasting memories that we will all cherish for years to come.

By the end of the day Cottontail had a cage fit for a rabbit king. The girls had even painted a sign that said Cottontail to hang on the front of the cage. That little bunny earned a special place in all our hearts.

Easter Sunday – Disaster Almost Strikes But Instead A Cherished Keepsake Is Found

On Easter morning I have my hands full trying to get my husband and children ready to go to church. It is a challenge to make sure the boys don’t end up with some kind stain on their Easter clothes before we leave. My husband, like many men, has the inability to find anything on his own so I have to direct him around all morning. My two teenage daughters must be checked over to be sure they aren’t wearing anything too wild for Easter Sunday. My youngest daughter Sally still needs me to fix her hair.

Everything was running pretty smoothly last Easter Sunday until Sally ran to me with her dress shoes in hand. It seems that since Christmas she had out grown her shoes. I told her not to worry that we would find a pair of shoes for her to wear. I told her to sit and read the letter sent by The Easter Bunny while I tried to find a pair of shoes for her to wear. My older daughters checked their closet but unfortunately they didn’t come up with anything suitable.

I called my mom and asked her to check and see if she might have an old pair of my older daughter’s dress shoes. She said she would look around and call me back if she found a pair. Sally and I tried a pair of my shoes but her foot was just too small. Then my mom called back and said she had found an old pair of my Easter shoes in the back of her closet.

I told my mom that Sally and I would be right over. I rushed her into the car and told her to fasten up her seat belt. On the way to mom’s Sally read me her letter from The Easter Bunny. We looked out the car window at all the beautiful spring flowers popping up everywhere. Sally pointed out the trees that were starting to get their new spring leaves. Sally told me that she wanted to us to grow daffodils in our yard next year.

When we walked in the door of mom’s house she handed Sally an old black shoe box. Sally took out the shoes and tried them on her feet. I couldn’t believe it but they were a perfect fit. Sally pulled an envelope out the box she found under the shoes. Inside was a letter sent by The Easter Bunny to me when I was a little girl.

At home we finished getting ready to go to church. I spied Sally slip both of our Easter Bunny letters into her new purse. I thought it was funny that she thought having my old letter from The Easter Bunny was special. And I was grateful that my mom had hung on to the shoes and the Easter letter for so many years.

An Easter Bunny Letter Writing Party – Why Not!

Every year we have a ‘write to The Easter Bunny’ party. It is one of my favorite things we do for Easter. I take all the kids shopping with me so that they can help pick out the supplies for our party. We have such a good time picking out the decorations and writing supplies. We always find little surprises while we are shopping that will make our party a little more special.

I let the kids make home made invitations to send out to everyone. They really feel grown up filling out the address and putting the stamps on the envelopes. Sally makes sure that each envelope has an Easter sticker on the seal. At the post office they drop each invitation one by one into the big mailbox.

The day before the big party the kids and I bake lots and lots of sugar cookies. The girls love to spread the pastel colored icing and sugar crystals on the tops of the cookies. I make two trays of deviled eggs I have to keep those hidden from my husband Drew. My daughter Melanie helps me make the cheesecakes.

Outside we tape the brightly colored table clothes to the picnic tables. We double check that we will have everything we will need for our Easter Bunny letters. The kids always get so excited waiting for the party. They cut tulips and daffodils to put all around the house as decorations. I have to admit, I think the house looks wonderful with the beautiful flowers and pastel Easter decorations spread about.

On the morning of the big party I put out the streamers and balloons. I go through the house and make sure the house is ready for visitors. On the tables outside we set out the supplies we have collected. We always ensure that we have plenty of markers, crayons, stickers, glue, and glitter. Those are some of the basics needed for properly decorating an important Easter letter. Plus, some of the kids like to create imaginative Easter crafts while they are into the concept of writing and creating. I always make sure that we have plenty of tables set up so no one will be crowded while they are busy designing and writing letters to The Easter Bunny.

We are all so happy when people begin to show up. It is always nice when we get a chance to have a day to spend with so many of our friends and family. The kids run through the yard glad to be out in the warm sun after being stuck inside all winter.

All the kids work very hard on their letters. The older kids help the younger ones to decorate the letters with glue and glitter. The kids are always excited about getting a letter from The Easter Bunny. We have a special satin bag we put all of the letters in when they are finished.

The party is something we look forward to every year. I hope to hold one each year, even when the kids are grown. Hopefully then I will have some grandkids that will be running and playing and we can teach them how to write letters to The Easter Bunny. It is always nice to be surrounded by the ones you love. I am glad that we get this opportunity to connect with out friends and family.

Does The Easter Bunny Write Letter On Orange Paper?

Each on Easter we have a huge Easter egg hunt when we get home from church. A lot of kids show up to join in the fun. My kids help me to dye all of the eggs we hide out in the yard. We have fun trying to make all the eggs unique. It gives us a chance to spend the day with many of our friends and family that we don’t get to see on a regular basis.

We decorate the eggs in several different decorations. Each one of my children has their favorite way to do their eggs. My son Trenton likes to glue bits of tissue paper on his eggs. Jackie takes her times and draws spring pictures on the eggs with a crayon before she dips them into the dye. Sally likes to make her eggs sparkle by rolling them in glitter while they are still damp from the dye.

The kids take turns telling each other what their letters from The Easter Bunny had said. Trenton was reading his letter and while he was talking he was moving, making a gesture with his hands and knocked over a cup of orange dye. The orange water quickly spread across his Easter bunny letter. I quickly picked up the letter and shook off as much water as I could. We laid the letter out in the sun to dry.

Trenton was upset about the letter. He oldest sister Melanie told him that she thought it was cool because now his letter was orange instead of white. Being the oldest all my other kids think that Melanie is the authority on what is cool and what is okay. Since the ‘authority’ liked the orange paper Trenton liked it and her approval made him feel better. I was glad because that was something that could have ruined his day. And let’s face it, it’s upsetting to us moms when our kids are upset.

As a tradition, when we finished all of the eggs we left them out on the table to dry. Later in the night my husband Drew and I would go out and hide them all in the yard. It took us a long time to hide all of the eggs because we actually colored five dozen.

The next day the Easter egg hunt was a big success. We were lucky to have warm breezes and bright blue skies. The kids found all the eggs that were in the backyard. Trenton showed all of the kids that he had a colored letter sent by The Easter Bunny.

After the kids found the eggs they started a game of hide and seek while the adults enjoyed some great food, drinks and conversation. Trenton brought me his special orange Easter letter from The Easter Bunny to keep safe. It turned out to be a wonderful Easter. Everyone had a great time that day. I hope we have as much fun next year. And by the way, my kids have asked about using food coloring to color paper to write their letter to The Easter Bunny. Isn’t it funny how something wrong can turn into something so right?

Making Special Springtime Memories In The Park

Around Easter I always take my kids to the park to the feed the ducks. At the park near our house there are beautiful spring gardens. We pack up a lunch and of course plenty of bread to feed to the ducks. It is usually an all day event so we all have to pitch in. We also use this time write our letters to The Easter Bunny.

It still takes my breath away when the gardens first come into view. Along the road through the park are scattered bunches of cheery yellow daffodils. A cluster of lilac bushes perfume the air with their heavenly scent. I park our car under the canopy of a silvery birch tree spotted with lime green spring leaves.

After being coped up in the house all winter we are all anxious to get out and be in the fresh spring air. While the kids are running around the playground I spread out a blanket for us all to sit on. Sally carries the bag with all the supplies for our letters to The Easter Bunny. Last year was just like any other year. The boys put together the kites they had brought with them. In no time they had those kites dancing high up in the air.

The older girls took Sally with them to walk around the pond. They wanted to gather a couple of braches from the lilac bushes to take back home. The boys were tossing bits of bread in the pond for ducks. It brought me joy to watch my kids all playing and getting along so well.

After awhile they ended up back at the blanket ready to eat. While we ate our lunch we talked about sending letters to The Easter Bunny. The sun filtered down through branches of trees and waxy white lily of the valley nodded their pearly heads around the trunks. Even my older kids were excited. We finished our meal and worked together to clean up the mess.

Next we got out our papers and pastel pens. Slowly their chatter ended while they worked on their letters. You could tell by the looks on their faces they were really concentrating on what they were writing. One by one they finished and neatly sealed the letters in pale colored envelopes. On the front in their best handwriting they wrote The Easter Bunny’s address.

Each year as my children get older the more special our spring trip to the park becomes. I will always have the memories from the days when going to the park to write letters to The Easter Bunny filled them with so much joy. I hope the memories we make at the park are carried in their hearts for the rest of their lives.

The Different Flavors of Easter Chocolates from The Easter Bunny

Easter goodies are often made of different chocolate flavors and each is really delicious in its own form. What really makes the flavors of chocolate different is totally dependent on the content of the Cocoa it has. It is the content of cocoa in the Easter chocolate eggs and candies that determine how intense or sweet the chocolate will be. Because of individual preferences, the chocolates are made with different cocoa content as some like sweet chocolate while others prefer a little bitter flavor.

There are lots of different flavors of Easter chocolates delicacies available throughout the Easter season. Chocolates that have 100 % cocoa content are actually unsweetened chocolate while the Milk chocolates are made of sweetened chocolate that only has 10% cocoa content. So actually in making the different flavors of chocolate varying amounts of cocoa and cocoa butter are added.

Unsweetened Chocolate:
This form of chocolate is most commonly used in making brownies and cakes and this is available in bar form as this melts easily.

Bitter Sweet Chocolate:
The Bitter sweet chocolate is much darker than the other chocolate flavors and is also more pronounced and semi sweet plus it contains high content of cocoa. The Bitter sweet chocolates are made by adding sugar, cocoa butter, and vanilla plus Lecithin is added which is an emulsifier that helps to hold the cocoa and cocoa butter together in candy bars.

Semi Sweet Chocolate:
People use semi sweet chocolate for baking and snacking only and this semi sweet dark chocolate also has very low sugar content. The best thing about the semi sweet chocolate is that it combines well with flavors and easily melts away. You can find semi sweet chocolates in the form of chocolate chips and chunks.

Dark Chocolate:
This type of chocolate is plain chocolate without any milk and so this is actually a pure form of chocolate that contains no sugar. Dark chocolate is considered to be a very healthy choice for your overall health.

White Chocolates:
People often make Easter Bunnies and cakes with white chocolate. It contains sugar, cocoa powder, dry milk and added flavors like vanilla.

Whichever chocolate flavor you use depends on your particular preferences, but Easter just wouldn’t be the same without some type of chocolate! It makes excellent delicacies for your Easter festival. The kids just love to eat chocolate in any form and especially on Easter Sunday they like to participate in the Easter egg hunt and love to hunt and eat the eggs that The Easter Bunny has hidden for them.

You can also add additives like mint, coffee, orange or any other flavor you prefer. These are added in very small pieces or in the form of creamy liquid. You can also add little pieces of peanuts and other nuts in your Easter chocolates.
The Easter Basket is another treat that the children wait for as it is filled with candies and chocolates. You can easily load your child’s Easter basket with all the assortment of candies that are especially made for the Easter holiday – along with a special letter from The Easter Bunny. Then you and the kids can enjoy a wonderful chocolate treat as you read the letter and compare it to what the children said in their letter to The Easter Bunny. Sometimes it’s the little things that make holidays special!

The Easter Trimmings That Make it More Memorable

A traditional flower choice for Easter is of course Easter Lilies. Whether you grow these beautiful flowers in your garden or bring them indoors, they have sweet fragrance that is more wonderful than an expensive perfume. Decorating your home with Easter Lilies not only looks great, it smells marvelous!

Of course, some people cannot be around fresh flowers because of allergies and other ailments. In that case there are very realistic silk flowers that can be used in place of the real ones. Other options include skipping the flowers all together and simply decorating with banners and other adornments. The nice thing about using this type of decorating style is that the kids can usually get involved.

The Easter season and the games can complement Easter traditions, establishing strong family connections so that Easter becomes an undeniably wonderful holiday. Most people associate Easter with Easter eggs and hot cross buns, and of course,
The Easter Bunny

Easter festival:
Many people are not sure of the origin and real meaning of the Easter tradition and some celebrate it as a religious holiday while others celebrate it as the start of the spring season. The icon symbol of Easter is that of The Easter Bunny. And whenever we see The Easter Bunny we immediately think about Easter eggs and children. They just seem to go together and these are the things that signify the arrival of the Easter and the beginning of spring.

Easter Bunny:
Rabbits and hares have always been a symbol of fertility and so they have become associated with the onset of the spring season and the renewing of life after a long winter. The custom of Easter eggs originated from Germany, where the kids were told tales of The Easter Bunny who laid eggs for the kids and the Germans brought this tradition to America. This started off the tradition in the US of baking Easter cakes in the shape of bunnies and also the Easter chocolate eggs.

Over the years The Easter Bunny’s popularity has grown and now his reputation is much like that of Santa’s. Indulging parents and other loving adults often present kids with wonderful gifts and goodies during this holiday. That’s one of the reasons that kids look forward to it. However, kids are told that the gifts are from The Easter Bunny. But many children have been told that The Easter Bunny only visits good little boys and girls. That has resulted in kids everywhere writing letters to The Easter Bunny. Then they wait and hope to find a letter from The Easter Bunny that will reassure the children that he will be coming to their house on Easter.

Easter Eggs:
It has been seen that many different cultures use eggs during Easter festivities because it symbolizes the new life and fertility. The eggs were forbidden during the lent period which is the period of fasting according to religious tradition. During this holiday people play many games that use eggs. This includes egg rolls and Easter egg hunts. There are even some especially designed Beeping Easter eggs that are made for visually impaired children. This allows them to participate in the egg hunt. These eggs either make a single high pitched sound or play a melody.

Easter Cards:
Easter cards were first drawn in Victorian England and from then on the tradition of sending Easter cards to loved ones started. And accordingly Easter is considered as the fourth most popular festival in which people send cards to their loved ones.

Easter Candies:
Candy gifts are the ideal gift for Easter. Indeed, this is the traditional Easter gift.

Easter Parades:
Little kids sometimes love to dress up as The Easter Bunny or even an Easter egg and march in the Easter parade – you know; the one in your backyard! This can create a lively and colorful atmosphere that is full of fun for all. The kids simply love to dance to the melodious tunes that are played and enjoy eating their delicious treats.

The Easter Celebrations around the Globe

It is quite interesting to see that Easter is celebrated with different traditions across the Globe. In New Zealand people celebrate Easter by attending the early morning church services. This marks the end of the season of lent. And on Easter morning all the stores and confectioneries start to sell Easter baskets filled with chocolate Easter eggs and Hot cross buns.

In France, Easter celebrations start off by giving away Easter eggs. This is because eggs are related to the renewal of nature during the spring and it also relates to the period of fasting in which eggs are forbidden. France has a tradition of hidden surprises in the Chocolate Easter eggs. It’s no surprise that kids love the chocolate Easter eggs and that emotion is enhanced by the element of surprise.

In Italy family members exchange Easter eggs as a token of the love and respect that they have for each other. The Italians start off Easter Sunday with a traditional breakfast of salami, eggs, cheese cake and a traditional sweet cake called Colmba which contains almonds and candies. And on Easter Monday most families go out on picnics and eat lamb and broad beans.

In Czech Republic, Easter is not celebrated as a religious festival but it is considered a way to welcome the spring season, where the family unites and enjoys a hearty dinner together. The people of this place usually decorate the Easter eggs with a technique called Kraslice in which the egg yolk and white are removed and the egg shell is decorated in different colors.

Easter in Australia is a religious tradition where the hot cross buns are made and relate with the cross of Jesus and the buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday.

In the US we have combined religion and fun. On Easter Sunday kids wake up to find their Easter basket filled with goodies and perhaps a letter from The Easter Bunny. Church service is a part of the day for most families and so is a delicious Easter Sunday Dinner. The children enjoy having an Easter egg hunt and playing other games while eating the treats left by The Easter Bunny.

In Ireland the tradition of celebrating Easter festival is quite traditional to the Christian world. The people of Ireland start off with the dawn dance, the herring funeral and also the cake dance to mark the Easter festival.

In Poland the tables are covered with Easter delicacies that include colored eggs, cold meat, coils of sausages and a lamb made of sugar. In this part of the world they follow strict traditions and smoke is permitted during the Easter day - this is the reason that no warm meals are served. Sharing a hardboiled egg with your relatives is also a part of the religious tradition of Poland.

The Brazilians hide the Easter eggs in the house a day before Easter and the children search for the eggs the next morning.

The English celebrate Easter in a traditional way by eating hot cross buns (which symbolize the cross) and chocolate Easter eggs (which are truly the symbol of a new life).

People in all parts of the world celebrate the Easter festival with a lot of zest and excitement and the kids simply enjoy all the fun and frolic that goes on in during the celebrations.

Easter Basket Alternatives

Most of us have found that saving things from one holiday to another is not always practical. I am referring to things like those treasured Easter Baskets. While some people have ample storage space and are not concerned with a place to keep the baskets from one year to another, others among us struggle with finding a spot to put them. The solution is simple, instead of using a traditional Easter basket, why not use another item that can serve as a basket temporarily and then be used for a practical purpose?

I have searched the Internet and found some creative ideas. Some are more suitable for smaller kids, but others are perfect for teens and even adults. Keep reading, you’re sure to see an idea or two that will work for you and your loved ones.

A ball cap can be perfect for the boy or man in your life. Just fill the cap in the same way you would an Easter basket. Add a little special touch of a wonderful treat and a letter from The Easter Bunny that mentions something about the love of the sport or whatever the cap represents. This idea also works for little boys that are into other things that can represented by a hat or cap. You can find fire fighter hats, Army helmets, construction hard hats, cowboy hats, or whatever. Another idea for a little boy is using a large toy dump truck to hold those Easter goodies.

You can use almost any theme you want. If there is a fisherman in your life (regardless of his age) you can use a tackle box. After all, Easter comes at a time of year when many of us are thinking about all the outdoor activities that we enjoy – why not get a jump on some of the things you will need to buy?

With that thought in mind you might consider such things as a backpack, a small duffle bag, a golf bag, or even a little wagon. The big guy in your life might love the idea of a tool box or even a wheel barrel. Imagine the fun you could have filling these larger containers!

The females in your world also want to have fun and get a little something extra at Easter. Many of the makeup bags are perfect for this purpose. Little girls will appreciate a stroller or a play shopping cart filled with Easter treats. Purses also work well for this.

Sand pails, flower pots and jewelry boxes are other ideas that will work well for this. Even bike helmets or a decorative dish can be used. In one article I found the suggestion of using an emptied paint cans. What I like about this ideas is the fact that its recycling something that is usually thrown out and the cans can be painted and decorated in lots of cute ways. In fact, you happen to be preparing a ‘basket’ for a painter this is an adorable idea. You could add a new paintbrush as a special Easter treat.

As you can see, the possibilities are endless. Just use your imagination. Find something that will serve a dual purpose. Then when the container is empty of Easter candy and treats it can be used for even more fun. And the best part is you are giving the recipient a great gift that was unexpected.

Spending The Easter Holiday Away From Home With Loved Ones

Because Easter is such an important holiday many of us either travel to visit family and friends or we have guests in our homes for the holiday event. And in today’s busy world preparing for guests – or even traveling to visit can require detailed planning. That is, if we expect things to go as we would like.

First of all, if you are traveling to visit loved ones you already know that one of your priorities is determining when you go, how long you will stay, and how you will get there. As with any other traveling, the earlier you start planning the better. Make any needed reservations as early as possible. Start a list of things to do before you leave for your trip and things to take.

If you will be staying at the home of a loved one it is very nice if you can bring a gift for their hospitality and simply to convey your love. If you have children you will definitely want to plan ahead about how you will fit in planning for The Easter Bunny. This will include things like planning and preparing for the basket decorating and egg coloring.

Also, if your children write letters to The Easter Bunny you may want to consider having Peter Cottontail send the return letter from The Easter Bunny to the address you will be staying at. That will confirm to your children that the Easter Bunny can find them and deliver goodies for them, even if they are not at home.

But you will also want to prepare your friends or relatives for the fact that you have certain Easter traditions that you will need to continue, even while away from home. This is especially true if you will be staying with someone not accustomed to the joys of having children around during Easter. An example of an important detail to remind them of is the egg coloring process.

Those of us that have children know what to expect with this process. The truth is, it can be rather messy. But the fun that the children have in creating their beautiful eggs makes the process worthwhile, mess and all.

Providing your loved ones with a gentle warning that your children may also be writing and receiving personalized letters from The Easter Bunny during the visit can also be helpful. After all, you have gone to the trouble of insuring that The Easter Bunny letter will arrive as it should, you really don’t want to blow the surprise or your secret identity as The Easter Bunny at the last minute.

Depending on your relationship and personal traditions, you may or may not need to plan ahead for the special Easter activities that are not focused on your children and The Easter Bunny. For example, you may want to consider whether or not you will be attending a church service on Easter Sunday. This will likely mean bringing along a dressy outfit for everyone.

Another consideration is the traditional Easter Sunday dinner. You may want to bring along any favorite or secret ingredients or recipes. Celebrating Easter with loved ones can make the holiday even more special. Why not consider inviting your loved ones to visit in your home next year? That will give you an opportunity to show them how welcoming you can be and you can share any special family traditions that could not be carried out during your visit.

Small Toys from Santa and Letter from the Easter Bunny

Children are the best creatures that have been made by God. Someone said that the whole future of the world relies on our little innocent children – I know it sounds like an enormous task and an impossible one in some ways, but just like our generation has done, they will do fine. Okay – we are not going to get political here! Lol Let’s get back to the kids… It seems that their innocence in some ways makes them more vulnerable but at the same time, it is this trait that can also make them more intelligent than most adults in a lot of ways.

Would you believe that many adults in the business world have been getting their inspiration from these little children? It may be hard to believe at first, but if you would simply read different articles, press releases and inspiring stories, these children have made a huge difference to the world. You may say, I am crazy or I must have already lost my mind – but no. Later on, you will realize that all these things make complete sense.

If you would ask me, I think that children are the best models that adults can look upon. Although they are playful at times, there is no reason for you to get mad at them, or even lose your patience with them. If you would just look deeper – look inside their hearts, you would greatly realize that there is more than just being playful.

Just imagine, these little kids don’t have too much in their life when compared to adults that have expensive belongings, fancy clothes, and a source of income. These adults likely have already achieved most of everything these children can dream of. But even with a wonderful job, a nice car, a stable source of income and even someone to share their life with many adults still do not find happiness – they continue to want more. When a gift is received they sometimes secretly wish that it had been a little bit better.

Yet small children are usually grateful if they have received small toys and gifts, candy, and even a letter from The Easter Bunny. Just imagine, with these toys and candies that they have received, they are already contented with what they have. On the other hand, some adults will be dissatisfied this Easter because they didn’t have the perfect dinner or maybe they didn’t get a new Easter outfit to wear.
What does this denote? It is simple.

Kids from all over the world, enjoy and appreciate all the blessings that they have received, whether it is a small present from Santa, or an inspiring message or letter from The Easter Bunny. If these wonderful creations can be contented in receiving a letter from The Easter Bunny, then why can’t adults who already have so much more? The message is clear: every single blessing in life should be appreciated, it should not be taken for granted, nor should it be ignored. It should be cherished – even the simplest things may make a huge difference in your life.

And of course, you could always let them get started writing those wonderful The Easter Bunny Letters.

If you don’t already have a craft box or bin now’s a great time to start one. Just add items as time goes on. Keep crayons, markers, pipe cleaners, pens and pencils, clay, buttons, Styrofoam, cards and stationery, ribbons, lace, and other craft items in your box. That will be a handy spot that will help keep things organized for times like this. It will make your life easier because you won’t have to ‘gather’ things each time a project or holiday comes along.
